Ever wonder what it would take to cut carbon dioxide emissions 60 percent by the year 2050 to fight the alleged global warming crisis? In Europe, according to a European Union plan announced yesterday, one of the requirements will be banning automobiles from cities.

What happens if you live in a suburb? Drive to the nearest train station, wait for a train, and take a train into the city. What happens if your workplace is not within a close walking distance of the train station? Get used to riding the metro bus system after riding the train. Sounds like fun.

Getting “tanked” in Los Angeles

This is getting ugly! Stopped by the gas station today to get some gas and I got a little light-headed. Unbelievable the rapid price hikes we are enduring, here in Los Angeles. Pretty soon we’re gonna have to do like some Asian countries and rely on bicycles and mopeds. So, everyone, stock up on your Wheaties and make sure you have a pair of good running shoes. Things are getting out of hand and that includes, “driving”. Gives us a BREAK will ya’, I am NOT getting any younger.
